Battery chargers are power supplies that include a field proven state machine for battery chemistries like Li-Ion or lead-acid, with pre-charge, fast charge and float charge (if applicable). Multiple charge termination strategies are implemented, using minimum current, flat current and maximum time, as well as battery fault protections.
